Benin

Brazil

Weather: Patchy showers across most cashew regions this week, with Ilhéus (~23 mm) and Porto Seguro (~15 mm) near or slightly below average, whereas Natal and São Luís received 12 mm, above typical seasonal rainfall. Forecast 2025: 290 to 300 kg/ha (no change from last week).

 

Cambodia

India

Weather: Heavy monsoon rainfall along the western coast, with Udupi (~223 mm) and Dakshina Kannada (~211 mm) receiving nearly double their LTAs; Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri also saw sustained rains above norms. Forecast 2026: 782,000 tons, up 1% from last week due to the continued heavy rains.

 

Indonesia

Ivory Coast

Nigeria

Weather: Markedly drier than normal across key zones—Enugu, Nsukka, and Oyo (Ibadan/Ogbomosho)—with rainfall 30–50 mm below LTA. Only light scattered showers occurred, leaving totals well short of seasonal expectations.

Yield 2025 (harvest year): 450 kg/ha (no change from last week – current dry period not affecting modelled yield).

 

Tanzania

Vietnam

Weather: Widespread heavy rainfall in Đồng Xoài, Biên Hòa, and Long Khánh (115–130 mm, well above LTA), while Buôn Ma Thuột and Pleiku also exceeded seasonal averages by 25–40 mm. Temperatures across producing provinces were notably 1.5–2.5°C cooler than normal.

Forecast 2026: 1,460 kg/ha (no change from last week).
