Benin

Weather: Cashew areas were markedly drier than average country-wide: northern centers such as Parakou, Kandi, Djougou and Natitingou recorded ~32–44 mm versus LTAs of ~54–67 mm (deficits ≥20 mm), while southern Savalou, Glazoué, Abomey and Bohicon had ~23–36 mm against ~47–58 mm norms. Brazil

Cambodia

Weather: Heavy, widespread rainfall with notable surpluses in the northeast: Andoung Meas and Ou Chum received ~185 mm and ~172 mm (≈+81 mm and +70 mm vs LTA), and Chey Saen ~134 mm (+31 mm), while temperatures were broadly 1.5–2.0 °C cooler than normal—wet and mild overall. India

Weather: East-coast cashew districts were drier than average: Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam logged ~44–47 mm versus ~72–80 mm LTAs (deficits ~25–36 mm), with Odisha’s Ganjam ~48 mm (−22 mm); along the Konkan–Kerala belt, rainfall was mixed (e.g., Kozhikode −26 mm, Ratnagiri +9 mm) and temperatures were slightly cooler than normal. Indonesia

Weather: Key cashew zones were much wetter and notably cooler: West Nusa Tenggara’s Mataram saw ~66 mm (+57 mm) with mean temps ~4.8 °C below LTA, Sulawesi’s Mamuju Utara ~71 mm (+19 mm) while Makassar was dry (~4 mm; −14 mm) and ~2.0 °C cooler, and East Java/Bali sites (Malang, Banyuwangi, Tabanan) posted +15–19 mm surpluses. Ivory Coast

Weather: Mixed conditions across core northern belts: Savanes (Korhogo) and Woroba (Séguéla) were drier than usual at ~30 mm against ~52–55 mm LTAs (deficits ~22–25 mm), while Bouaké in the center was wetter (~52 mm; +10 mm); temperatures stayed close to average. Nigeria

Weather: Kogi and Enugu were wetter than normal with broad surpluses (e.g., Lokoja ~63 mm, +19 mm; Kabba/Bunu ~70 mm, +15 mm; Nsukka/Enugu East ~85 mm, +14–15 mm), whereas Oyo trended drier (Ibadan North-West ~43 mm, −18 mm; Abeokuta North ~45 mm, −14 mm); temperatures were seasonable. Tanzania

Weather: Seasonally light rainfall overall, but the Tanga–Muheza corridor was notably wetter (Muheza ~29 mm, +16 mm), while core southern cashew areas (Mtwara, Masasi, Lindi) had only ~2–5 mm; inland Ruvuma (Songea Rural) was markedly warmer than average by ~+2.5 °C. Vietnam

Central Highlands stood out for excess rain and cool temperatures: Buôn Ma Thuột recorded ~139 mm (+67 mm) with mean temps ~2.3 °C below LTA, and Pleiku was similarly cool (~−2.5 °C) with rainfall near normal; Southeast sites (Đồng Xoài, Biên Hòa, Long Khánh) were near-normal to modestly wet.
